Meet Dr. Austin Reed

As a dentist, I believe every patient deserves the same level of care and the same dental experience I would want for a family member.  I believe that you deserve the best!  That means personalized treatment, attentiveness to comfort, and access to the leading dental technology.

Every visit with a patient includes me talking with them, asking about their health and what they want from the visit. It’s my responsibility to keep the lines of communication open, encouraging patients to talk with me, and listening and learning what they need. In doing so, I’m able to understand how they need to be cared for and tailor the visit and procedure so it addresses their needs and exceeds their expectations for gentle care.

It is an honor to be trusted with a person’s oral health, and I take that responsibility seriously. Because of my experience, and the range of care I provide, I’m able to tailor each procedure to my patient’s clinical and personal situation. Personalized dentistry ensures the best approach and strongest results, and keeps my patient comfortable, too.  — Dr. Austin Reed

Beyond the Practice

Dr. Reed grew up in Urbandale, IA. After graduating from dental school, he moved to Peosta and opened his dental practice. He and his wife Elizabeth lived in Peosta for six years, and when their oldest son was ready to start school, the family moved to Dubuque.

Dr. Reed and Elizabeth have four sons: Barrett, Brooks, Beau, and Briggs. He enjoys coaching his sons’ sports teams and spending time with his family. Dr. Reed also volunteers at Bryant Elementary School and is the president of the Bryant Family Organization.

In his free time, Dr. Reed loves golfing and cheering for the Chicago Cubs, Dallas Cowboys, and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Being with his loved ones, though, is his greatest pleasure.
